College Refurbishment
In Summer 2009 we started an extensive refurbishment programme, and have reached the half way stage of our plan to upgrade all the college buildings.
William Goodenough House was closed for refurbishment in summer 2011, and re-opens in mid-September 2012.
This full refurbishment has allowed us to modernise the building, providing two additional storeys, and a private (ensuite) bathroom for each single bedroom.
In addition we have converted two studio flats and five rooms for those with disability or mobility requirements.
Sustainability and energy saving were at the heart of our plans for refurbishment; in addition to assessing each element of the refurbishment for its green credentials, we also incorporated a green roof and photovoltaic cells.
We are accepting applications for Autumn 2012 for William Goodenough House.
London House will close for refurbishment in Summer 2013.
